Tatry

Tatry

The highest mountain range in Poland and the only massif in the country with an alpine character. They stretch along the border of Poland and Slovakia, offering spectacular landscapes from gentle valleys and meadows to steep ridges and rocky peaks. This is where the highest Polish peak is located – Rysy (2499 m above sea level), as well as famous trails, including to Giewont and Orla Perć. The Tatras are a paradise for tourists, climbers and nature lovers. That is why it is a place protected within the Tatra National Park and inscribed on the UNESCO biosphere reserves list.
